There are so many sites in so many areas that were once a place of learning - where teachers and students often travelled to experience teaching and being taught how to read, write and enjoy the company of others in what was often an isolated location.

Horsham laneways have some interesting connections with the buildings they service. Come along and enjoy hearing their abundant history and enjoy afternoon tea in a historical home nearby.

Participants can look forward to either a morning or afternoon bus to and from the Homestead for some local history, entertainment, guided tours and refreshments. You will hear of the Homestead's history, enjoy beautiful refreshments and see the lovingly restored gardens and surrounds.

During this event we will extend open hours to 4pm allowing more visitors to see and experience our brilliant new media presentations being projected and displayed throughout this ingenious Heritage building.
