Tour of Historic Narracoorte Homestead

Tour the Historic Naracoorte Homestead property including Ormerod Cottage, The Grain Store, & 3 acres of sweeping grounds and beautiful gardens.

Previously the premier sheep station from 1842, including the oldest dwelling in the town.

Your host, Natasha, a born & bred local, took on the task of retuning the property to a luxury Bed & Breakfast-style accommodation, & event venue, just 18 months ago.
Love history? This is your opportunity to ‘step back in time’ to a yesteryear, with a bit of luxury & learn about the regions’ founders whilst visiting the region.

Where: Narracoorte Homestead, 30 McLay Street, Naracoorte (a 15 minute stroll from The Sheep’s Back Museum)
When: Tuesday’s & Thursday’s throughout April, 2024
Time: 11.00 – 12.30pm (maximum 20 places/tour)
Cost: $16.50 per person

Please bring a packed lunch (Ploughman’s..?) or a picnic & a thermos of your favourite beverage to enjoy on the grounds after the tour, at your leisure.

Free parking is available on-site (drive up driveway & park in paddock to your right - mind the large gum trees!)

*nb. The Homestead & Cottage is operated as a BnB & the owner will liaise with you should an accommodation booking clash with the date of the tour. In this case, an alternate tour time can be organised
